| A board-certified surgeon, William R. Maranon, MD is Medical Director of The Center for Colo-rectal health in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has more than 20 years experience in general surgery. He earned his undergraduate degree at UCLA and medical degree at UCSD; Additionally, he volunteered as Medical Director for the Santa Barbara Rescue Mission for two years. After briefly relocating to Cleveland, Ohio, to work, teach and complete an additional three year residency at Meridia Huron Road/ Hillcrest Hospital, Dr. Maranon settled in Las Vegas, where he joined Davidson-Rosen Chartered General Surgery as an employee and partner from 1996-1999. He served as Instructor of General Surgery at Touro University in Las Vegas from 1990-2001. |
